Open Data Challenge 2016

 

E-Government National Centre and E-Government Innovation Centre are inviting developers, graphic designer, students and anyone interested at trying their hand at coding, to participate in the Open Data Challenge.​​​

The Open Data Challenge is a half day event to stimulate creativity and innovation among public that focused on writing applications, create visualizations and produce analyses based on or derived from the data published in the open data web portal.​

Day/Date	: Saturday, 27th August 2016
Time	: 8 AM - 12 PM
Venue	: ​​Chancellor Hall, UBD (T.B.C)

The theme for the challange are:

• Health related Information​​

The challange are divided into 4 categories:

1. ​Visualization for Students
2. Visualization for Public​​
3. ​Application for Students
4. Applica​tion for Public​​

​8.21 am - 8.30 am	The opening of Open Data Challenge​​
8.31 am - 9.50 am	Product Pitch for Visualization Categories
9.51 am - 10.00 am	Break
10.01 am - 11.15 am	Product Pitch for Application Categories
11.16 am - 11.45 am	Evaluation and marking among Panel of Judges
11.46 am - 12.00 pm	Prize Presentation
12.00 pm	Close​

One winner from each categories will awarded a cash prize of:​​​
